COVID deaths reach 81

The number of deaths from COVID-19 in Barbados has risen to 81.

A 70-year-old Barbadian woman died yesterday afternoon at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility after spending nine days in primary isolation. She had a pre-existing condition and was unvaccinated.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel, Jeffrey Bostic, extended sincere condolences to her family and friends. (BGIS)
