Rapist Kinchar Kenny Lavonne Mascoll is a sexual predator and a danger to society who should be given life behind bars for his two latest crimes, the prosecutor said yesterday.
However, Mascoll’s attorney believes the sentence should be 15 years, saying Mascoll’s life was wrecked by events in his childhood and his upbringing.
The attorneys made the submissions when Mascoll reappeared, via Zoom, in the No. 2 Supreme Court.
Mascoll, 44, of Drax Hall Jump, St George, had pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl on December 1, 2015. He also confessed to assaulting a 43-year-old woman occasioning her actual bodily harm, as well as raping and buggering her, all on December 17, 2015.
