Wet conditions are expected to continue across Barbados from Thursday, with rainfall accumulations expected to peak over the weekend.
A trough system and a tropical wave are forecast to affect the island.
Intermittent, scattered, moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout this period. Rainfall accumulations of three to six inches and isolated higher amounts are possible over the weekend.
The Barbados Meteorological Services will be issuing watches and warnings as required at short notice, and urges members of the public to stay on the alert for these bulletins. (PR/SAT)
