Drugs destroyed

The Royal Barbados Police Force on Thursday destroyed more illegal drugs at the Bridgetown Port.

Acting police public relations officer, Inspector Stephen Griffith, said the drugs were seized or discovered in the Bridgetown division. These include the Hastings/Worthing, District A, Central and Black Rock Police Stations.

Additionally, some would have been evidence in court cases which were fully adjudicated.

About 70 marijuana trees of various sizes and approximately 20 grams of cocaine were destroyed in the exercise. (SAT)
