A second COVID death on Sunday

A 73-year-old Barbadian man is the second person to die as a result of COVID-19 today, Sunday, October 10, the sixth recent death to be recorded.

The man, who was fully vaccinated, passed away this morning while in tertiary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility.  His death brings to 96, the number of persons who have died from the virus since March 2020.

Earlier, the Ministry reported five people had died.
