BWA fixing burst mains in Christ Church and St Michael

Crews have been mobilised to repair broken mains in Callender’s, Christ Church and Fairfield Road, St Michael, the Barbados Water Authority said on Monday.

The BWA a burst on an eight-inch main in Callender’s was impacting residents in Southern Heights, Durant’s, Balls, and surrounding districts.

The Authority added it was also addressing the ruptured four-inch main in Fairfield Road.

The BWA said it will make every effort to assist residents in the affected districts via water tanker as a temporary measure.
