Two women succumb to COVID

Barbados recorded two COVID-19 deaths, today, Tuesday, October 19, bringing the number of people who died from the viral illness to 122.

A 51-year-old Barbadian woman passed away at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility, while a 71-year-old Barbadian woman died in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.

Both were unvaccinated.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, extended condolences to the loved ones of the deceased. (BGIS)
