Vaccination Schedule for November 4 and 5

The Immunisation Unit encourages the public to take advantage of the COVID-19 vaccines available at a number of centres, mobile and community sites on Thursday, November 4, and Friday, November 5.

The venues and times for Thursday are as follows:

Vaccination Centres:

  • Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St Thomas – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Mile-and-a-Quarter, St Peter – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Masonic Centre, Salters, St George – 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Sandals Royal Conference Centre, Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church – 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park, Bridgetown – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Roads, St Philip – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Community Engagement Sites:

  • Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union Limited, Belmont Road, St Michael – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mobile Bus Sites:

  • Carters and Company Limited, Wildey, St Michael – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The centres and sites which will operate on Friday are:

Vaccination Centres:

  • Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, S. Thomas – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Roads, S. Philip – 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, S. Peter – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Masonic Centre, Salters, S. George – 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park, Bridgetown – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mobile Bus Sites:

  • Sagicor Mobile Bus at Bay Gardens, Oistins, Christ Church – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Amir’s Chicken, Lowlands, Christ Church – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sol Airport Service, Charnocks, Christ Church – 12 noon to 4 p.m.

All three vaccines – AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Sinopharm – will be available. Students 12 to 18 years may visit any centre or pop-up clinic to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

People who wish to receive their first dose are advised to walk with their identification card. Those eligible for second doses should also travel with their blue vaccination card.

Booster shots for the AstraZeneca vaccine will also be available at all of the sites for persons 18 years and older who had their second injection six months ago or longer. (BGIS)
