Head coach of Barbados’ Under-20 men’s national football team, Fitzgerald Carter, says the squad is confident of defeating Bermuda tomorrow in their opening game of the Concacaf qualifiers here in Santo Domingo.

Barbados are set to take on Bermuda at 7 p.m. in their quest to qualify for the World Cup in 2023 and spectators will return to the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium for the first time this year.

Last year, Barbados topped their group after three wins, including a 3-2 victory over Bermuda, in Puerto Rico.

“Our first game is Bermuda and we are really focused on them right now to be honest and we are taking it one game at a time. For me, the main thing right now would be concentration level.” (AGB)
