Orthodontist and businessman Dr Vidya Armogan is calling on Government to mandate vaccination in health care, hospitality, and teaching sectors, and for front-line workers.

“That is the only way we are going to pull out of this (COVID-19 crisis) and get this economy going again” he told the media yesterday during a press conference at his PAVAO restaurant at Sweetfield Manor.

PAVAO is one of four Armogan family businesses that will post the private Safe Zone identification logo officially from Monday, signalling a welcome to a safe gathering environment for the vaccinated and unvaccinated, who must now meet stringent conditions for entry.

Armogan said it was critical that Government got a hand on the economy, with a highly vaccinated population being a key factor to the return to any semblance of vibrancy. (GC)
