Five people succumb to COVID-19; toll at 204

Two women and three men, all Barbadians, died from coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday, November 16.

Four of them passed away while at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility – three men, aged 58, 75 and 77, and a 64-year-old woman. An 89-year-old woman also died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility. They were all unvaccinated.

Their deaths bring the number of people who have died from the virus to 204.

Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (MR/BGIS)
