UPDATE: Police searching for missing woman

Searches are being conducted for missing person Samara Bristol.

The search parties comprise at least 50 police officers, eight Barbados Defence Force soldiers and members of the Police Canine Unit.

Efforts are concentrated in Welchman Hall, Airy Cot and Greenland landfill, all in St Thomas.

These major searches started at 5 a.m. on Saturday and follow other searches which were conducted since the official missing person’s report was made on Wednesday, November 17th 2021.

On Thursday, police issued a notice that Bristol was still missing after rumours began circulating that her body was found in the landfill. (PR/SAT)
