Police are investigating the stabbing death of 27-year-old Terrick Howard of Country Towers, Country Road, St Michael.
A statement said police received a report around 11:10 p.m. on Friday that there was a stabbing incident at a bar in Baxters Road, St Michael.
“The caller further reported that the victim was lying on the ground and an ambulance was summoned.
“A police patrol unit responded to the scene and learnt that the victim was transported by private motorcar to the QEH,” the statement said.
Medical personnel at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital later confirmed that Howard passed away while undergoing treatment. (PR)
