Seven homeless after blaze in St David’s

Seven people are now homeless after a fire gutted their St David’s, Christ Church house yesterday evening.

Colin Callender and his six children lost all their possessions and were only able to save one of his children’s tablets.

A sombre-looking Callender told Nation News he was at work in Bridgetown when he received the devastating call from one of his neighbours. His four youngest children, who range in age from ten to 17, were at home engaged in online classes when the blaze occurred.

All the occupants escaped injury. (NM)
