Police investigating shooting in Lears

Police are investigating a disturbance that has led to a fatal shooting in Lears, St Michael.

Officers and emergency personnel responded to a report on Saturday about 6:52 p.m. that a man had been in an altercation with several men, and he had been shot.

On arrival at the scene, officers found a man lying on the roadway that leads to the business area of Lears.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
