It was her fault, said Faith Angelica Pile.

She told the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday she was the reason her brother and her boyfriend killed Barbados Defence Force Private David Blenman.

“I want to ask my brother and my child father to forgive me because if it wasn’t for me, this situation couldn’t have occurred,” she said.

Pile, 25, of Skeetes Road, Jackmans, St Michael, along with her brother Jamar Antonio Pile, 30, and Shaquan Sherwin Omar Crichlow, 23, both also of Skeetes Road, Jackmans, had pleaded guilty to the non-capital murder of Private Blenman between November 30 and December 1, 2016. The three were originally charged with murdering the man but denied that capital count.

The matter has been adjourned until Friday for further submissions. (HLE)
