The Ministry of Health and Wellness said today that the recent industrial action taken by some nurses across the public health system has affected the National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign.

“Daily, nurses have been unavailable to administer the vaccines at some sites, which continue to be reduced because of this issue,” a brief statement said.

However, the Ministry of Health and Wellness gave the assurance that despite the current challenges being faced, the public will be updated, in a timely manner, as to which sites will operate on a daily basis. (BGIS)
