Even under a cloud of uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Barbados Football Association (BFA) is putting systems in place for the 2022 season and beyond.

One of those plans, as it relates to its national teams, is to have all playing and non-playing members of the contingent fully vaccinated, especially ahead of international assignments this year.

Part of the reason behind the decision is the high quarantine costs being incurred by the BFA when national teams travel to and from overseas competition.

Both the men’s and women’s national teams will be in action in the first half of this year. (NM)
