Paulo’s Churrasco do Brasil has permanently closed its doors.

It was one of the island’s popular South Coast restaurants located in St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, which was highly recommended on TripAdvisor.

Owner and director of Paul’s Enterprises, Paul Johnson told the Weekend Nation yesterday that due to the economic impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a decision to close the restaurant was made in 2020, as it was not feasible to reopen it.

“As you know these times have been hard and due to financial constraints we were not able to reopen it. It is one of the tragedies as a result of the pandemic,” he said. “All good things come to an end. We love this property dearly but this is what we have to do.”

Johnson said the property was sold and the building was being taken down. (SB)
