Man to appear in court on multiple charges

Police have made a breakthrough into a series of burglaries and sex crimes.

They charged Omar Windell Jordan, 34 years, of no fixed place of abode, with multiple counts of burglary and two counts of unlawful sexual assault.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between July 25, 2021 and January 4, 2022.

He is scheduled to appear at the District A Criminal Court on Friday.

Within the jurisdiction of District A:

  • Burglary which occurred between the 25th and 26th day of July 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 3rd day of September 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 14th day of September 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 24th and 25th day of November 2021
  • Burglary which occurred between the 2nd and 3rd day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 11th and 12th day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 23rd and 25th day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 24th and 26th day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 26th and 27th day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred between the 29th and 31st day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 2nd of January 2022.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 4th of January 2022.
  • Unlawful sexual intercourse which occurred on the 2nd day of January 2022.
  • Unlawful sexual intercourse which occurred on the 4th of January 2022.

Within the jurisdiction of District B:

  • Burglary which occurred between the 24th and 26th day of December 2021.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 2nd day of January 2022.
  • Burglary which occurred on the 3rd day of January 2022. (PR/SAT)
