Escaped prisoner recaptured

Police recaptured escaped prisoner Roger Rommel Sealy around 6:30 p.m. on Clapham Road, St Michael, on Tuesday.

Sealy, also known as “Duck Foot”, was attending the Physiotherapy Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in the custody of a prison officer when he escaped, ran off and jumped the fence of the western carpark.

He was last seen in the area of Purity Bakeries near Dunlow Lane, The City.

The 37-year-old, whose last known addresses were Scotts Gap, Brittons Hill; Martin’s Road, The Pine and Watermill Place, Bayville, all in St Michael, was on remand, having been charged with aggravated burglary. (PR/SAT)
