Section of Highway 5 closed to vehicular traffic

C.O Williams Construction Limited will commence work today along a section of Highway 5 between Culpepper Road and Marley Vale, St Philip.

The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Wednesday and Thursday due to the construction of a culvert.

Motorists are asked to divert through Golden Grove Road, Thickets and Three Houses. All road users are encouraged to obey the signage and instructions of the flag personnel, and proceed with extreme caution.

For the remainder of the project, which is expected to last approximately two weeks, traffic will be restricted to one lane. The work will be carried out between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 pm.

The Ministry of Transport Works and Water Resources and the C.O Williams Construction Team apologise for the inconvenience and thank the public for their patience and understanding.
