Elderly woman succumbs to COVID-19

A 97-year-old woman is the latest COVID-19 victim.

She passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility on Friday, January 28.  She was unvaccinated.

Her death brings the total number of deaths from the viral illness to 278.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Ian Gooding-Edghill, extended condolences to the loved ones of the deceased. (BGIS)
