People needed to pick cotton

The Barbados Agricultural Management Company Limited (BAMC) is seeking people to harvest West Indian Sea Island Cotton.

BAMC’s Agronomist, Nyah Nyhathu, indicated that for February, harvesting will take place at Three Houses Farm, St Philip, where the field is located at “Harrow”, opposite the Bushy Park racetrack, and Redland Farm, St John, where the fields are located at “Edgecliff. The fields will open from 7 a.m.

Cotton pickers are advised that harvesting attire must comprise the following:

long sleeves, long pants, headgear (hat, scarf, head tie), and fully enclosed shoes. They should also travel with an umbrella and water.
