Four more COVID-19 deaths; toll at 299

Another four Barbadians – three men and one woman – have died from coronavirus (COVID-19).  All of them succumbed to the virus on Saturday, February 12.

Two of the men, aged 64 and 81, were fully vaccinated, while the third, who was 80 years old, was unvaccinated. They passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.

The woman, aged 87, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility. She was fully vaccinated.

Their deaths have brought the casualties from COVID-19 to 299.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Ian Gooding-Edghill, has extended condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
