The Bajan Gems played their most commanding match so far at the 2nd OECS Netball Series crushing host country Dominica 67-27 at the Windsor Park Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Barbadians revelled in elements, minus rain or blazing sun, to dominate the hostesses in every quarter 18-6, 35-17 and 50-20 to predictably win their fourth game.

The Gems, who are ranked 13th in the world were to play 21st rated St Vincent and the Grenadines last night before returning home this afternoon.

Barbados started captain Latonia Blackman in the shooting circle in tandem with Villa teammate Faye Agard. The powerful Shonette Azore-Bruce and Tonisha Rock-Yaw controlled the defence circle. Rookie Chiara Chase played centre with Zakiya Kirton at wing defence and Vanessa Bobb at wing attack. (KB)
