Traffic restrictions in James Street on February 19

Traffic restrictions will be in place in James Street tomorrow.

The funeral service for Cynthia Pauline Thompson, the mother of Senator Elizabeth Thompson, is scheduled to take place at the James Street Methodist Church, Lower James Street, St Michael at 10 a.m.

As a result, vehicular and pedestrian traffic along James Street with be restricted from 6 a.m. until the completion of the service.

Vendors will not be allowed to set up in the area.

Parking will not be allowed on the street, except for those attending the service and authorised by the police to do so.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.

Police officers will assist with the direction and parking of vehicles. (PR)
