Barbados Women’s national football team will aim to conclude the first round of the 2022 Concacaf W Qualifiers with a victory against Aruba tonight at the Estadio Panamericano.

Both teams will be hoping for the perfect riposte after suffering defeats in their respective opening matches, and this will make for a fiercely competitive contest.

The Lady Tridents stumbled to defeat on February 17 on the road when Panama beat them 5-0, and Aruba were crushed 7-1 by El Salvador two days later.

Aruba got to half-time in that match with the score at 0-0, but they collapsed in the second half, their only bright spot a consolation goal in stoppage time from a beautiful left-footed shot by Kiomy Herasme.  (NM)
