Attorney gets bail

Attorney Philip Nicholls was released on bail for a charge of theft when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.

The 61-year-old attorney of No. 8 Pine Gardens, Pine Plantation Road, St Michael, was not required to plead to stealing $102 143, between February 7, 2017 and October 22, 2020.

He was released on $40 000 bail by Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes and returns to court on August 24. (HLE)
