The Barbados Water Authority said today that it has been affected by power interruptions for a second consecutive day at the sources which supply water into the Castle Grant section of its distribution network.

BWA said this has resulted in low reservoir levels at the Golden Ridge facility which sends water to districts in St Joseph. Residents in these areas would have in turn been affected by intermittent supply between yesterday and today.

The Authority apologised for the service interruption and said that normal supply can be expected to resume gradually once reservoir levels improve. (PR)
