BWA notice on Alleynedale well

Share post:

During the maintenance of the Alleynedale well, water supply to the northern parishes is being supplemented from a temporary source in an effort to reduce the incidences of outages and low pressure, says the Barbados Water Authority.

This interim measure will continue to be used as long as the pumping capacity of this source can be sustained.

During this operation, customers may experience a slight increase in chlorine taste. This is being monitored daily and is well within the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.

The Barbados Water Authority thanks its valued customers in St Lucy and St Peter for their patience and understanding as maintenance and related works continue at Alleynedale. (PR)
