More than three years after Ranaldo Narico Roberts left school without any certificates, he found himself getting a homework assignment from the No. 2 Supreme Court.

The 19-year-old has been tasked by Justice Randall Worrell, to write an essay detailing the plans for the rest of his life and saying why he should be released from Dodds Prison. He has a week.

The order came after Senior State Counsel Olivia Davis suggested that Roberts required direction and a plan for his future.

The teenager, of Factory Avenue, Wildey, St Michael, had just pleaded guilty to having a .380 M&P semi-automatic pistol and six rounds of ammunition on February 22, 2021. (HLE)
