Do not waste the lifeline that Jesus gives out each day.

Roman Catholic priest Father Andrew Rosiak gave that advice yesterday as he encouraged people to fight to be holy and conquer their sins.

During Easter Sunday mass at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church at Black Rock, St Michael, Rosiak urged the congregation to reflect and see what they could change to become better individuals.

“Change your life, don’t waste the lifeline that Jesus is giving you and me every day. Don’t be afraid to fight to be holy. This is the battle we are having.

“Easter Sunday is the moment when we have to face our weaknesses and say ‘No, with Jesus and His grace, I can do it; I can fight my sins and conquer them with Him’. So let us invite Jesus to help us be good people, to be kind, helpful and be good Christians and to have good families,” Rosiak said. (TG)
