BTMI mounts display at Miami Speed Week

Barbados is bringing the exciting motorsport lifestyle and luxurious island holidays together for the world’s growing motorsport fan base.

That was the sentiment of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) as they launched Barbados’ ‘Motorsport Island’ concept at Miami Speed Week, May 7 to 8 in Miami, Florida.

The destination was one of the partners at the highly anticipated Miami Speed Week event, with two dedicated spaces in the VIP and General areas of the Live Broadcast Activation in Bayfront Park, Miami.

Corey Garrett, BTMI Director for the Caribbean and Latin America with responsibility for Sports, commented that “Barbados has long been revered as the destination of choice for motorsport in the Caribbean, boasting the only FIA Grade track in the region.

“As motorsport followers are rapidly growing worldwide, we are positioning Barbados to capitalize on this trend by pairing our own motorsport offerings and Barbadian holidays in an attractive, competitive way.” (PR)
