He may not remember the conversation he had with his mother or kicking the sleeping person next to him but he definitely remembers being fondled by accused Rico Renaldo Edwards.

So said a now 18-year-old complainant when he appeared in the No. 5 Supreme Court yesterday.

Edwards, 27, of Sargeants Park, Foul Bay, St Philip, is on trial accused of indecently assaulting the then 11-year-old boy, while the boy was at Scout camp, on May 24, 2015.

The complainant recalled he was at camp seven years ago and was asleep in his sleeping bag when he “felt a hand in my private parts”.

“When I traced it back, the hand belonged to Rico,” the boy told the court. (HLE)
