Two men injured in Ferniehurst shooting

Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the areas of Block #17 and Block #19 Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael around 4:50 a.m. today.

A media statement said police made a rapid response to the area and, on investigation, it was reported that at least two men were shot during the incident.

A 25-year-old man from Bush Hall, St Michael received injuries to the lower stomach, lower right back, left buttocks, hands, fingers, and suspected internal organ damage. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by taxi, according to reports.

The other injured person, a 36-year-old man, received lower back injuries. He was transported by a private motor car to the QEH.

Police said four houses and four vehicles were damaged. (PR/KG)
