Skeletal remains found at Bannatyne Road

Police are conducting investigations in a cane field at Bannatyne Road, Christ Church.

Workers who were harvesting sugarcane by use of machinery today discovered what appeared to be human remains. Police were alerted around 4 p.m.

A media statement said police have cordoned the area along both the southern and northern sections of the road and traffic has been diverted. (PR/KG)
