In Gros Islet, St Lucia

The Bajan Tridents are in St Lucia ahead of their opening fixture versus Antigua and Barbuda in the 2022/2023 Concacaf Nations League (CNL) football competition on Thursday night here at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet.

Barbados’ senior men’s national team, ranked 163 in the world, had a light early morning training session yesterday in Vigie, Castries, just opposite the George F L Charles Airport.

The conditions were not ideal due to a few patchy areas in the pitch, but head coach Russell Latapy used the opportunity to do light ball work with his 25-member squad.

Barbados’ first encounter versus Antigua and Barbuda is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. (AGB)
