The road from Bowmanston, St John to Ellerton, St George, will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m.
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) will be carrying out urgent leak detection along that stretch over the next two nights.
Motorists travelling along Highway 4, east of Bowmanston, past Woodland Plantation to The Mount and down to Ellerton are advised to traverse those areas with the utmost caution to maintain the safety of the personnel on duty.
BWA vehicles with flashing lights will accompany the technicians who will be carrying out their duties on foot. (PR/SAT)
