Father’s Day was a quiet day for some, but for many others they went all out to ensure the men in their lives knew how important they were and ensured the celebration reflected the occasion.

At the Lighthouse Restaurant at Hilton Barbados, it was a triple celebration for Tyrone Davis as he and his family celebrated Father’s Day, his wife’s birthday, and his sister Maureen’s birthday.

Tyrone said they usually went out each year for Father’s Day, and had lunch at Mango Bay last year.

“We go out for Mother’s Day, so we have to go out for Father’s Day. My wife’s birthday was last week Monday, today is Father’s Day, and tomorrow (today) is my sister’s birthday,” Tyrone said.

Across the way, Matthew Clarke was enjoying lunch with his wife Janet Blake-Clarke and their son Josiah. (RA)
