The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MHW) is adjusting the number of people who have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus owing to duplication on its records.

In a media release on Monday, MHW said “occasional connectivity problems with its internet has resulted in a number of vaccination entries being duplicated”.

As they are removed, the number of people with at least one dose will show a “slight dip” on the daily dashboard.

“The percentage of the eligible population receiving at least one dose has remained at 71.2 since June 13, when the data cleaning process began. Until this process is completed, there will be minor fluctuations in the number of persons reported with at least one dose,” the release said.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said it would continue to provide the public with accurate information as it became available. (MHW/BGIS)
