Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 8th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael.
According to a statement from police, the victim was standing at the door of a residence in New Orleans when an unknown person “fired upon him, striking him in his back”.
Ambulance personnel were summoned and took the victim to the Queen Elizabet Hospital for medical aid.
