Police investigate double murder in St Joseph

Police are investigating a double murder that happened late on Wednesday in St Joseph.

The incident occurred in Orange Cottage after reports to the police about 11:30 p.m. of several explosions in the area.

Police said two men were found dead at the scene.

The victims were identified as Tyrese Caesar, 20, of Durants, Christ Church, and Trae Harris, 34, of French Village, St Peter.

Police said the body of Caesar was discovered outside the Cottage Bar and Grill, and of Harris in Horse Hill.

A third man, Seth Towler, 19, of Heddings, St Philip, also received injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
