A 22-year-old man from Savannah road, Bush Hall, St Michael, was shot twice around 8:45 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the man, whose name has not been released to the public, was standing next to a canal at nearby Godding Road.
This matter was reported about 10:42 p.m. when the man presented at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
