Shane Brathwaite in semis at Worlds

Shane Brathwaite advanced to the semi-finals of the men’s 110 meter hurdles at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday.

Brathwaite, the reigning Pan American champion, was fourth in heat four, clocking 13.47 seconds to progress as an automatic qualifier.

Olympic champion Hansle Parchment of Jamaica won in 13.17 seconds. Brazil’s Rafael Pereira (13.23) and France’s Just Kwaou-Mathey (13.32) were second and third, respectively. The semi-finals are set for Sunday at 8:05 p.m. Barbados time. (AGB)
