The Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding Championships return to Barbados for the first time in 21 years, with the pre-judging slated for this afternoon and the finals tomorrow night.

The inaugural Roger Boyce Pro Elite Classic, which will feature several top-class musclemen from Europe, is slated for Sunday which means local fans will have top-class bodybuilding, men’s physique and bikini fitness competitions for three successive days.

Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding &  Fitness Federation (BABBF) president Dr Alfred Sparman said that dozens of competitors had already arrived for the event, with most of them being accommodated on the South Coast.

Sparman said more than 200 competitors, officials and supporters were coming for the three-day extravaganza, which should be a big boost for tourism. (MK)
