Police are investigating a suspected death by hanging of Jonathan Fabian Ricardo Forte, 30, of Ashdeane Village, Black Rock, St Michael.
According to police, they received a report about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Black Rock station that a man used a bedsheet to hang himself from a door frame while at his home at the same location.
Members of the family identified Forte, according to a statement from police, after they visited the scene and confirmed what was reported.
A medical doctor subsequently visited the scene and pronounced the death of Forte.
