A well-loved fisherman who comes from a family of fisherfolk has gone missing at sea.

The family of Leslie “Pollard” Clarke was still trying to come to grips yesterday with the horrifying news of his disappearance while at sea.

Police communications and public affairs officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss, told the Midweek Nation that police had received a report and were investigating Clarke’s disappearance.

He said Clarke and his brother went out on a fishing boat on August 6. The brother sailed back into Barbados on Monday and reported to the coast guard that Clarke started acting strangely. He went to sleep and when he awoke his brother was nowhere to be found. (MB)
