Some travellers are pleased about the latest changes to Barbados’ COVID-19 entry protocols.

They expressed their satisfaction yesterday at Grantley Adams International Airport, a few days after the testing there of unvaccinated travellers for the viral illness came to an end.

Repeat visitor Jeff King, who was travelling from London with his family, said although he was vaccinated, the change in protocols could be a relief for some.

“If I wasn’t vaccinated, I can see how that would be useful because when we had to get tested at the airport, it could be a hassle, so removing that requirement at the airport should bring some relief,” he said.

Two other British travellers, who only gave their names as Olivia and Luka, made similar comments.  (TG)
