Another man shot in Goodland

One man was taken for medical treatment after being shot in the lower body early Wednesday morning.

Police say the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. at 2nd Ave Goodland, St Michael.

The victim was sitting on the step of his home when an unknown assailant discharged a number of shots in his direction.

It was the second such incident in the community within a 12-hour period. Earlier Tuesday evening, one man sustained injuries to both legs and was taken for medical attention after a shooting at 4th Avenue.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who can provide any information into this matter is asked to call, the Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500 or 7501, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station. (PR/SAT)
